Since 2019, Jerome Barrand is leading RFID programs within Michelin Group for Passenger Cars and Commercial Vehicles tires. Purpose of those programs is to develop and deploy RFID solutions (embedded tag within tires, reading solutions, tire data management…) to connect tires to a larger ecosystem and enable data driven services that will improve customers’ mobility experience, sustainably.
Before Jerome Barrand has a 15 years’ experience in R&D, mainly in Passenger Cars tire development managing the launch of new MICHELIN tire lines and OE fitments for several OEMs (Audi, Volkswagen, Jaguar, Land Rover), but also leading Standards activities within ETRTO.
