The linked sites are not under the control of the GDSO, and the GDSO is not responsible for the content of any linked site or any link contained in a linked site. If this Site contains bulletin boards, chat rooms, access to mailing lists or other message or communication facilities (collectively, forums), the User agrees to use the Forums only to send and receive messages and materials that are proper and related to the particular Forum. The GDSO reserves the right to remove, for any reason and without notice, any content of the Forums received from Users, including, without limitation, e-mail and bulletin board postings.

The GDSO reserves its exclusive right in its sole discretion to alter, limit or discontinue the Site or any Materials in any respect. The GDSO shall have no obligation to take the needs of any User into consideration in connection therewith.
 
The GDSO reserves the right to deny in its sole discretion any user access to this Site or any portion thereof without notice.

Where you are a customer, we will keep your information for the length of any contractual relationship you have with us unless you are a customer purchasing Standards in which event we will keep your information until you opt out.
Where you are a prospective customer and you have expressly consented to us contacting you, we will only retain your data until you unsubscribe from our communications.

 The personal data that we collect from you will be stored either in GDSO or at our website hosting provider.
 
6. What are my rights in relation to my personal data?
You have the right to ask us noave consented to us using your personal data, you can withdraw that consent at any time.

  • you attend Committee, Working Group or Task Force meetings.

We process the personal data listed in paragraph 1 above for the following purposes:
  • to enable us to administer standards development, validate your involvement in a Committee,  Working Group or Task Force and enable you to liaise with other committee members;
  • to administer the standards process, including running activities and maintenance and monitoring of membership in order to ensure compliance with GDSO Rules of Procedure and Constitution;
  • to notify new documents posting;
  • to invite you to take part in the different Technical meetings;
  • to respond to your comments.
